For those that don't know the Distant World Films a.k.a. 
The Distant Worlds DC Independent Cinematic Universe is for lack of a better phrase an independent Cinematic Universe where we create films, limited series and other projects based on the characters of DC Comics. Our projects are strictly fan based meaning our films are fan films. We don't profit off of anything we produce because the rights to anything and everything DC Comics belong to WB/Discovery and their parent companies. 

BUT we work hard at our Cinematic Universe because it makes DC fanatics the world around excited for something that's not ruled by million dollar executives who are guided by dollar signs and not the love of what DC means to them. 

The great thing is that you can actually message us, email us and let us know what you would like to see in one of our films or if you'd like to be in one. The Distant Worlds are films made for the fans by the fans, including all the fans, you're all welcome.

If you know anything about us as at The Distant Worlds films you know we like to plan ahead, that's why when you walk on our film sets you see films planned out from chapter one all the way to chapter 2 with someone else secretly assigned to take care of chapter 3. Each chapter in the distant world universe will contain approximately 5 or more movies and/or web series. Some people see it as excessive but I for one love it because I can never get enough of DC Comics and knowing that we have more films planned as time goes on it keeps me amped up and I think it keeps the character actors amped up as well knowing that they have more work to look forward to. We begun filming "Batman: The War Is Lost" back on November 26th, 2022. With production beginning back in May of 2022, director & writer Doug Saunders has been hard at work with the Distant Worlds team crafting the newest chapter in the Distant Worlds Independent DC Cinematic Universe . Aaron Wacker reprising his role as Alan Scott from Justice League: Taskforce , struggles to find his inner strength but with the help of an eternal magical energy known as the Starheart, Alan Scott is embued with the powers of the Green Lantern.
